The internet has been the biggest force for social change since the industrial revolution. It has changed the ways in which we live, work and communicate with one another. It has also changed the ways in which we address death, plan for death, grieve and remember the deceased.
The Digital Legacy Association is the global organisation supporting the general public and professionals with this increasingly important area. We launched the association in 2016 at Hospice UK’s National Conference in Liverpool, UK.
Supporting society and professionals
We undertake research, develop areas of best practice, consult governmental and non governmental organisations and deliver training and workshops.
We spend a lot of our time campaigning, developing resources, highly strategic content and frameworks. We work with the media, governments, organisations, Universities, the legal sector and charities to empower society and those providing relevant services.
